Giving is a way you and I can partner with the mission of the church.  To share the great news of the gospel and offer hope, love, grace, and mercy to our community, city, country, and the world.  So why should you give?  Because giving allows our church mission to continue.

There was a young man that once said, "church saved my life."  This young man was born into a very violent and troubled family.  His father was an alcoholic and physically abused him and his mother through out his young life.  During this young's man's childhood his only hope for survival was as a church, just like TLC.  A church that began to pick him up every Sunday and Wednesday and take him to church.  A church that began to give this young man hope, peace, comfort, grace, mercy, and love.  As this child began to go to church, and pray for his family; something happened.  His family life began to change and by the time he was 9 years old, his father found salvation in Jesus Christ, became a believer in Christ, and gave up his addiction.  Life at home had changed, all because of a church, following Christ's command, shared the great news of Jesus Christ to him.

 

The reason we give, offer tithes, offerings, and volunteer services, is for people all over our community just like this young man.  Individuals who need hope, love, compassion, salvation, healing, comfort, direction, and guidance that only the message of Jesus Christ can give; through the church.  Please join us in this partnership and give.
